Managing Your Inscrip … VISITORS!

Vanheede Manage

When Vanheede Environmental Group invested in a powerful Gatehouse® Visitor Registration in early 2023, they immediately replaced their outdated pen-and-paper inscription book with a high-performance digital Visitor Registration. Their internal staff are immediately notified of their arriving visitor by SMS, email, Teams message or a call with a spoken SMS.

Meanwhile, the visitor can calmly read and confirm the internal safety and hygiene instructions in their own language. In the event of an emergency or fire, the live cloud app can immediately take out any visitor present and this by means of any smartphone available at that time.

When Vanheede Environmental Group newly launched the slogan "Managing Your Waste ... Materials", they have immediately made their point !

They would have convinced all companies of the need to gradually transform the word "waste" in our heads into the word "raw material". This has meanwhile been quite successful. Nowhere else in the world is so much waste being separated and recycled as here. Vanheede did not launch the umpteenth hollow slogan, but proves every day that they enjoy being challenged to manage new waste streams into raw material streams.

Some spectacular figures :

  • Vanheede handles 2000+ different waste streams
  • Vanheede uses 2500+ methods to turn them back into usable raw materials
  • Every year, Vanheede converts 1,000,000 tonnes of waste into 96% reusable materials
  • Vanheede delivers 580,000 tonnes of raw materials back to the industry
  • A part of the waste also generates 46,000,000 kWh of Green Energie annually

At Vanheede, they even go so far as to develop new types of raw materials. After 25 years of research and development together with the State University of Ghent, they developed AlterCoal® which is a perfect substitute for coal in, for example, the steel sector. But with a fraction of its polluting emissions.
