What if ... your reception is really unattended ?
You know the situation: a visitor wanders around your entrance hall bored because his "host" took a day off or is unexpectedly ill and the reception is unstaffed. Your Gatehouse visitor registration system neatly notified this person by email and SMS but obviously to no avail.
Your visitor often does not know who his contact person may be replacing and is definitely present.
1. By default, you can give each host an email address and a phone number in Gatehouse. Recently, we added the "CC email addresses" field. This allows you to notify unlimited colleagues in CC of your visitors.
2. You can also create an "indefinite host" such as Reception or Food Inspections or HR or Parcel Services or ... Here you can also add extra CC mail addresses.
3. Optionally, build our latest "Call function" into your kiosk. As an extra step, the kiosk always calls an internal employee (in cascade) until there is an answer. This can be combined with a mandatory confirmation code from the host, before the registration can be finished.
This way, you will never again let your newest top customer or the unannounced auditor walk away orphaned! It will save you a lot of unpleasant experiences.
